Drill Dozer and Summon Night Swordcraft Story hold special places in my heart. Monster Tale is a solid Metroidvania (I think from before those made a huge resurgence) with some Digimon mixed in. I want to try out Avalon Code based on the description, too. Probably everyone who plays JRPGs knows TWEWY, but it's still offbeat enough to be a good inclusion.
