Even with p4 golden's fast forward feature, I still don't want to have to skip through 20 minutes of scenes and dialogue every time in order to choose a dialogue option that will cause a hilarious scene before choosing the "right option" that will give a bonus to my social link or whatever.

I've been playing persona 4 emulated; I was considering what I'm losing out from not playing persona 4 golden, but the luxuries feelsgoodman. And I go to youtube to find additional content/cutscenes that I missed out on.

Not... really. New game plus is exactly what it denotes, playing a new game plus added features. I'm not gonna remember dialogue choices I made for a hundred different scenes and social links. I'd want to know what each one says in the moment. That's not my reason to replay the game, for me there are much better reasons like maxing social links or discovering new dungeons I might have missed the first time around.

Yeah ignoring that post aside, it's really a shame that they don't want us to see all
dialogue choices since part of the fun of rpgs is that they're inherently text heavy so you want to read EVERYTHING. ... Copied to Clipboard!

that is why NG+ exists, but the dialogue choices largely mean nothing. just the dialogue immediately after is changed, and then it continues on with that choice not really changing anything.
