Agreed. Goes all the way back to book two even in Qorth. I always got the feeling GRRM wrote her specifically to slip into madness. I'm in the camp that thinks (read: hopes) that she is the big bad before/during/after the long night. When I see topics like this I usually see far fewer on TCs side and more on mine/yours. At least from book readers. GRRM clearly attempts to paint her with some semblance of likability and heroic traits, but fails completely, because she doesn't fail all the time in spite of her constant stupidity.
