It seems that people got angry about Mario wearing a sombrero on the cover of Super Mario Odyssey, so Nintendo will be replacing that part of the cover with a different image.

I guess this is dumb, but as long as nothing is getting cut from the game I don't think it's a big deal. I hardly look at video game boxes anyway.

Was there an outcry when those Sombrero Guys first appeared? I don't recall one.

Okay, comments on that tweet say that Nintendo changed the cover the same day they revealed that there would be a snorkeling Mario. So maybe they just didn't want to give that away too early. Of course, my local conservative radio station didn't mention that.

When companies keep bending over to these idiots they are just enabling them.
