zero pieces of legislation. ZERO.

What does that have to do with doing work? Tell me, are you of the opinion that just because legislation fails that no work was actually done toward it? Like seriously, this is why you can't have conversations with most the liberals around here. They are either extremely ignorant or are koolaid drinkers.

Well I guess if I take an exam and fail it miserably, I should still get credit for at least putting in the work right?

No. You get partial credit for whatever things you did right, if you get any credit at all. You don't get credit for just trying.

Why does it matter if they're biased? I still think they do a good job on their covers. They can be biased if they want.

You know, Newsweek printed up a lot of copies of a magazine with a big picture of Hillary Clinton on the cover with the headline "Madame President". It had a big article detailing Clinton's rise to power. This was made in anticipation of her victory of the election. Naturally they were recalled but I did read that one news stand did mistakenly put them out. When I see these Obama covers and look at the Trump one I really wonder if Newsweek isn't still bitter about that embarrassment and their inability to publish their Clinton magazines?

This does raise another interesting point.

I watched Citizen Kane recently. The part where Kane ran for governor, his newspapers prepared two headlines in advance. One proclaiming his victory and the other raging over his defeat. I imagine similar happens in real life. News groups prepare articles, headlines and statements in advance for both candidates so they can be ready for any outcome. I wonder how many news groups decided NOT to do this for the 2016 election? Remember how confident people were that Clinton would win and Trump would lose. How many newspapers needed to hustle at the last minute to produce a Trump victory article?

I really have to say, November 9th, 2016 was a fascinating day to watch.

Yes, it happens, as has been known for like 50 years. Dewey defeats Truman anyone.
