Why do cities have to support poor people? If they can't afford where they want to live, the poor people should move to Nebraska or something. Cities are under no obligation to create affordable housing. It is always the fault of the working person if they cannot afford to buy a house.

Supposedly housing cost less than police having to deal with the homeless. Homeless veterans should not be a thing with how much we spend on the "military" .

I put my poor people next to the factories, which is where they usually work, anyway

but then some of them get sneaking and travel halfway across the city to go to college and then they want good jobs

providing houses for homeless helps solves the homeless problem. people also have an easier time finding a job if they have an address.

In theory. In theory it could also enable more people to become homeless. Fear of living on the streets is a big motivator for some people to continue working.
