Depends.
$2-3 per pound is about right for fresh chicken, if you go for generic brands. Sometimes it'll have rib meat and/or bones included, might be a little more for wht you're looking for. If you're looking for brand name or especially organic/free range then $5 per pound might not be terrible. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

One of my local grocery stores has boneless, skinless chicken breast family packs on sale for $1.49/lb right now.

$2/lb at walmart, ~$3/lb at Kroger in my area. Krogers is better because it isn't injected with brine.

I didn't notice the buy one, get one free part of the ad listed. So that would essentially make it around 4 lbs for $10, give or take, which isn't too bad. But yeah, that normal pricing is awful.
