I find it both incredible, and disappointing at the same time.

For one, for being a Game Maker game, I find it amazing that they actually got sprite art and background art in such a way that it looks like an official production. In fact, nearly everything does. The gameplay, mimicking Fusion perfectly, with the way it feels when you jump, run, shoot, grab onto ledges, everything feels absolutely authentic. It's mind-blowing they had that much talent for the game. It feels completely like Metroid Fusion.

But what disappoints me the most is that it feels completely like Metroid Fusion. Fusion and Zero Mission were okay, but I didn't really like those games that much. If they were going to put forth this much effort and energy into something that felt like an authentic experience, I'd rather they have tried to make the game feel more like Super Metroid in its gameplay. Super Metroid is leagues better than both Fusion and Zero Mission.
