All the way back, 60~ years ago or so, The Twilight Zone predicted something terrible that would happen in the future. There is one particular episode that has become the perfect metaphor for the rise of SJW ideals and culture: the episode "It's a Good Life" is about a boy named Anthony who essentially bends reality to his will, which causes him to be (relatively) content while everyone else is miserable and hates him. He's unrealistic in terms of expectations, and never truly satisfied, but because of his powers he is able to enforce whatever he chooses against the will of all those around him. People fear the repercussions, and descend deeper into his own personal madness with him rather than stand up for themselves and risk punishment. Anything he doesn't like simply disappears. He even has a Tumblr-esque haircut!

I think that was an allegory for parents spoiling their kids but you're connection was almost coherent. The short story is far superior.

SJWs weren't a thing back in the late '50s and early '60s. They were simply "marginalized dissidents" who were still far less insane than what we have today. --- "message parlor" ? do you mean the post office ? - SlayerX888 ... Copied to Clipboard!

That interpretation doesn't seem to make sense given that even the parents were afraid. --- (\/)(\/)|-| In Zeus We Trust: All Others Pay Cash ... Copied to Clipboard!

It works though, in the sense that they allow themselves to be controlled. His powers are simply a plot device. --- "message parlor" ? do you mean the post office ? - SlayerX888 ... That's one of the episodes they updated for the '80s (or was it '90s?) TTZ.

I loved the Shadowman episode. The '00 reboot was the most mixed... I loved some episodes and hated others. Overall, the '90s Outer Limits reboot is probably the best anthology show of all time. --- "message parlor" ? do you mean the post office ? - SlayerX888 ... Copied to Clipboard!
