I don't know anything about the memorial. I just see a broken glass which as far as I know could have been broken by a couple of kids throwing an errant football.

If it wasn't accidentally broken then it was clearly vandalism and whoever vandalized it should be prosecuted. Why wouldn't they be? Kinda common sense.

It's all good when it comes to video game opinions this board has abysmal tolerance levels. I never raged against undertale though... so I doubt that's it. Just said it wasn't for me and that describing a new game as the best game ever was pretty misleading during the contest, especially when most of the voters openly admitted to not thinking it was the best game ever but just thought it was good and were enjoying the backlash.

Probably more likely it was me comparing SSMB to Power Stone. They were both created as party brawlers and I still stand by it.

You should check out the website for his house, which is a FEDERAL national memorial. It says that the memorial honors his service to the United States before and after the Civil War (no mention of during).

Also I never said its just a window it matters nothing. I said all I see is broken glass which may have been broken in many ways since there is no literal video of someone vandalizing it like the other is.

They should be put in their proper context (i.e. this was a "significant historical figure" instead of "this was a hero"), but destruction is taking it too far (not to dismiss the legitimate grievances people have regarding symbols of the Confederacy).

From what I understand, a lot were built in the 1920s or thereabouts in a push for national reconciliation, since Lee was the one person both North and South could generally agree was a good person. That was when Congress made his house a national memorial.
