Just got out of purgatory.

It's refreshing when I see how many GameFAQs friends I have on my main, helps stave off the existential dread. One week on an alt is like a year in solitary confinement.

I warned for about a week for a Smurf/Jewish joke in my sig.

It goes away quicker if you accept your moderations. Warnings and shit stick around for a while regardless though.

This is how they do it. I've seen people get a 3kl for posting porn, only because they had a spotless mod history. And then I've seen people get a month suspension for a harmless joke because their mod history is horrendous

Probably like 10 years ago.

I think I've only been modded once in the last year or so (a 3kl), and I got that one overturned almost immediately.

Hey, you're talking to the person who used to insult people by implying their parents were related, and never once got modded for it - so I know that a lot of not getting modded is just being clever about being an asshole (something most of the current assholes can't get into their heads).

I probably did that dozens of times, too. It was my go-to insult until I got even more subtle about shitting on people.

I may have felt a little schadenfreude knowing that you were digging yourself deeper and deeper with that nonsense, although I bear no real animosity towards you. Partly because I know you lack the emotional maturity and self-awareness to control your temper at times, which is part of your charm.

Yeah, you can get 3kl'd for implying that people (not even posters) are "evil" yet more tangible offenses are ignored. It's a wildly inconsistent set of rules at times, largely because the "offensive" rule is wholly arbitrary. But whatever, 95% of the time there aren't any real issues if you stay away from directly flaming people.

If you're going to pretend that you were cool-headed and logical the whole time you were going off the rails, it would only mean you have more in common with Arctic than you pretend.
