I still question why anyone thought bringing Bubsy back was was a good idea, business or otherwise. Are they hoping they get sales purely on the infamy of the franchise? That people will buy it just to see how bad it might potentially be? Bubsy isn't exactly a name you associate with quality.
Since it's being developed by the makers of the Gianna Sisters, it might actually end up being good, but even if it IS good there's a ton of people who'll avoid buying it just because it's Bubsy.
