Swarzenegger is a hard line republican. And an amazing speaker. Better than Michael Bloomberg. I was at an event in NYC where he spoke and Bloomberg (while mayor) was actually talking real factual issues, arnie had no business being there exception for being a celebrity who would sell tickets. But he was the absolute hands down best speaker and he didn't really say anything relevant to New York or the issues and still blew it up.

No, he condemned them once. And then walked that all back the next day when he went on an insane rant against the alt left (a thing which does not exist) in a very heated defense of nazis, the kkk, and assorted white nationalists.

There is a difference between reading a statement and speaking your own opinions. His own opinions were that the radical left was assaulting people who support him for daring to protest them.

There is no such thing as a nazi being a fine person. There just isn't. You cannot condemn nazis one day and still have that condemnation stand the next when you go there are some fine people marching under swastikas!

I recall years ago reading that Arnold trains / hires an aide to keep the Austrian accent despite being in the U.S. so long which would naturally cause his accent to degrade over time. Because his "funny accent" is a part of his identity as a movie star, and thus valuable for him to retain.
I'd certainly find it weird to hear him w/o it.
