This game just feels off. I can't describe it but Sonic just doesn't move right. and the music is super super annoying >_>

level design is pretty shit, too
a really bland formula of automation followed by ramps and springs that lead to stiff block platforming, then it repeats

I think the music's pretty nice. Especially the first stage.

But yeah, what bugs me about Sonic Episode 4 AND Sonic Generations is that the developers seemed to think 2D Sonic is supposed to have a ridiculously slow acceleration. Sure it might seem that way based on memory, but in reality, 2D Genesis Sonic had a much faster acceleration than the developers remembered.
