So there's this friend of mine that I'm into. I would ask her out, but I really value our friendship, and I don't want it to go away or get weird if she says no (or if she says yes, if/when the relationship ends). Basically, I really like her romantically, but I also really like her platonically.

I've got friends from elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. The vast majority of my friendships are more than 5 years old.
