For the sake of my argument, I'm referring to US politics.

So, lets create two sides with ideological differences. People are bound to identify with one over another. Views are bound to change over time, but parties will adapt, making it so you still have to vote for one of the two parties.

People that don't vote R or D will be seen as fringe (libertarians, for example), labeled as kooks, and will never get enough of the vote to take over as a real threat.

Those behind it all, with money and power, win either way, Republican and Democrat. While we're too busy pointing fingers at each other, these bastards keep getting richer.
