24 y/oo Seth DeValve becomes the FIRST White NFL Football player to KNEEL during the national anthem!!

More than a dozen football players formed a prayer circle on the team's sideline before Monday night pre-season game against the New York Giants

The group included veterans, rookies, starters and backups and for the first time, a white participant!!

Seth said "I wanted to take the opportunity with my teammates during the anthem to pray for our country and also to draw attention to the fact that we have work to do and that's why i did what i did"

It came just a week after Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett called for white players to participate and said "It would take a white player to really get things changed, because when somebody from the other side understands and they step up and they speak up about it it would change the whole conversation"

He's a 4th round pick last year out of Princeton who said the protest was personal as he's married to Erica Harris, an afrian woman woman whom he met as both have been vocal about white supremacist rally that took place in Virginia as they made several FB posts about it and Erica was very proud of her husband!!

He hopes for his future children to grow up in a better world as the said the United States is the greatest country in the world but it doesn't provide equal opportunity to everybody.

He wrote "I wanted to support my African American teammates today who wanted to take a knee. We wanted to draw attention to the fact that there's things in this country that still need change. I myself will be raising children that don't look like me and i want to do my part as well to do everything i can to raise them in a better environment than we have right now"

Former NFL QB Colin Kaepernick was the first to start this movement againt the police brutality of african americans as he refused to stand up to show pride in his country that oppresses black people and people of colour. He has yet to be signed to a team that is forcing members of the NYPD to say he deserves a job in the NFL after they fear his signing would cause controversy for their team.

Hue Johnson who last week seemed to say he opposed the kneeling said he now stands by his players
