ElatedVenusaur 08/23/17 9:17:30 PM #5:	The CTE business is likely to get worse the more we know about it. It largely depends on how effectively it can be mitigated(early signs aren't great). The NFL, of course, is an extremely conservative institution that was and still is trying to downplay the extent of the problem, which will probably make things worse than they need to be, strictly speaking. <cite>ElatedVenusaur posted [p:885334534] in How long b... Agreed. At the end of the day, all sports carry risk. But some more than others and ones like football are just so dangerous. But many won't care or will convince themselves it's not that bad. It's so huge right now (somehow) so while it may start shrinking, it'll be a slow decline.
