I think I'm just too screwed up for anything right now. I can't stay concentrated. So I can't pay enough attention to enjoy the things I used to like. It's been getting worse and worse. And when my sister died last Saturday I kind of went off the deep end, I guess.

I don't like this new age gaming, requiring internet, memeberships and what not.

Not so much bored but the industry is going in the exact opposite direction from what I want, especially in FPS, and when I try to like the new things I get bored with them because casuals are the only demographic being targeted anymore.

Everything is pretty much the same. Games have reached their peak.

I've had all the time in the world this summer between not working nor going to school and I still haven't played video games.

I try playing then quickly turn it off. I get so bored now. I have brand new games that I've received as gifts or purchased within the past year that I haven't even opened yet. It's pretty depressing to think about, but I really think I'm bored of gaming.

Not since i find the indie/middleware selection.

AAA, though, it is all shit. The games are creatively bankrupt, only consist of content based on checklist based on market research trying to please the masses, content are most of the time locked behind paywall outside of the initial 60 dollars, nickel and dime ing practices to a very disgusting degree etc.

Indies and AAs are where the fun lies. Last AAA i think good are dishonored 2 and prey though arkane is a special case

Games nowadays are just ass. I honestly blame PS4/XB1, devs stopped focusing on gameplay and spend all their time fucking around with graphics shaders and shit.
