ARMS will have a testpunch this weekend and you'll be able to try that out for free as well so that's good timing. When it comes to the eShop I've quite liked Slime-san. It's very similar to Super Meat Boy. I've hears really good things about Thumper but I haven't played it myself. You've also got Mario + Rabbids in a few days. I really like the controller dock peripheral, but I have even found a comfortable way to hold the individual pieces for multiplayer Mario Kart and the like.
