40k/yr for liberal arts program no

40k/yr for STEM maybe

10k/yr for most-any program yeah

biggest thing about college is that the undergrad costs vary widely but the return on investment does not correlate well with it

obviously there are still poor choices with regards to degrees and school choices, but I think overall it's worth it for those who want it
