Few things piss me off more than when a program automatically adds itself to your startup..

Then you remove it from your startup and it adds itself again. And there's nothing in the options to prevent that.

Has anyone made a software that can run in the background and automatically detect when some program tries to add itself to the startup and either blocks it or warns you about it?

Also on win 10 you can see your start programs and disable them individually

you can use group policy to disable adding things to startup or to the registry in the startup area and even if you're an administrator you won't be allowed to do it.

you'll have to manually enable the group policy before you can add something there again.
