So I'm considering on buying a Nook to rent my text books. I'm only going to buy 1 or 2 textbooks, one for English which is required and the other for Biology which is optional, but next year I will most likely need 3.

So what's it like studying off a Nook? How much money will I actually save renting digital textbooks? What kind of Nook did you buy and use for your textbooks? What did you have for breakfast this morning?

I do have an iPad though, so I can talk about ebooks in general. It saves hella money to rent or buy books digitally; books sold for $60-80 can be found for $10-25. I use Chegg (which has a desktop version and mobile app) when books are available and I like its interface because you can highlight and bookmark pages easily for referencing. Ultimately you should search around and compare for the cheapest option, period. Sometimes renting from my local bookstore is cheaper than the online option. Just keep googling those ISBNs and you should find something reasonable.

All the books I need can be purchased at Barnes and Noble, which I can just rent for (1/3) of the price on a Nook.
