The National Front is literally a fascist party.

I mean Le Pen could probably be most accurately described as a national socialist.

Her party (not to mention her dad) were actually collaborators when the nazis conquered France.

Eh, the reason why Marine is associated with Nazism is that her father founded the party in the early 70s and openly accepted Nazi collaborators in it's ranks. He also had a history of asinine and controversial statements. In 2012, he was convicted of contesting crimes against humanity for saying that Nazi occupation of France was "not particularly inhumane." And in 2015, he called Nazi gas chambers "a detail of history." But to HER credit, either because she recognized how morally messed up it was or how damaging politically it was, she did make an attempt to kick plenty of people out of the party, including her own father as well as her own "friends".

But nah, I wouldn't call her a neo-nazi. At best a sympathizer, but even that's a stretch

I'm seeing quite a few people acknowledge the reasons people MIGHT associate her with Nazism. That does not make her a Nazi. Her dad being a nazi doesn't make her a nazi. Her party being formerly associated with Nazis doesn't make her a Nazi. The problem isn't that her family and party have historical ties. The problem is that people are automatically calling her a nazi even though her actual publicly available platform and opinions on most issues don't align with them.
