I don't think you're far off, but it's probably not healthy to identify yourself obnoxiously and almost exclusively with a single trait, and it was hardly now and then. There was always this undertone of him using it to leverage popularity or something. I can't quite put my finger on it... Did anybody see that episode of Community called "Remedial Chaos Theory" where Pierce keeps forcing a story about how he banged Eartha Kitt into the conversation?...
