Partly. I mean when working at KFC this one guys was a jobsworth and I said to him "unless you're told to learn me things get on with your own job". At the end of the day he was on the same level as me yet was acting like he was a manager or something. That kind of shit just enforced my notion to walk out of the job as it was a shit job to begin with.

it's a mentally tough job and sometimes douches stick around. luckily mostly nice people stick around a while.

Nah. I've had coworkers I don't really like before, but they were never a factor in my decision to leave.

I quit work at a welding / structural steel shop because it was full of shithead stoners and run by assholes from another country that literally thought that laws / rules did not apply to them because they wanted to go by their origin country's.

I've had coworkers and supervisors piss me off from time to time, but not enough to make me hand in a resignation.

Not me personally but I have seen my fair share of people leaving companies over the years because of this reason.
