Not unexpected.

Yes, that's right. After right wing terror attacks, we're having the anti-trump protestors treated as a terrorist organization in this incredibly fascist move.

Cue the brigade.

inb4 but Obama
inb4 but Hillary
inb4 but SJWs (-_-)
inb4 that thing that happened in 1875

FYI, that judge was appointed by Bill Clinton. Something to keep in mind when you attack the Judicial Branch.

Yeah, I can honestly say I'm not surprised.

Good thing Erik's gone. He's probably frothing at the mouth over this.

It's the government's warrant. What's scary is it actually got through.

How many inb4's do I need?

"It's ok the NSA existed under Obama", and I say "fuck Obama". That's not an excuse for Trump.

A single search warrant for millions of people. That's ludicris. The judge said they'd "oversee" it, which is a total joke.

It's enemy of the state bullshit.

Given that many of them literally went there to attack people, the designation is 100% earned. Keep in mind that this pertains to people who were ARRESTED at the event for their violent conduct. And orchestrating a violent political attack falls squarely within the realm of terrorism. If you're part of an unlawful group using violence to suppress speech, you are a terrorist. Period.

As for your ridiculous claim of "right wing terror attacks," they've paled in comparison in both number and quantity to leftist terror attacks which have gone largely unpoliced.

What's ludicrous is your inability to spell ludicrous, for which I condemn the public education system as a whole.

Nor is it "millions" of people. Clearly you weren't taught to read either. The INITIAL request *may* have affected 1.3 million people. However, the limited second request pertains to a much narrower data set.

I hope lots of them are part of Antifa. They can have a taste of their own medicine. The fact there's bound to be some overlap makes me okay with this.

Given that they're using organized violence to advance a political agenda, any Antifa member arrested for assault should be tried as a terrorist.

Mr. Aghaian said the scope of the Justice Department’s search now extended only to emails passing through DisruptJ20.org and related mailing lists.

Previously they wanted to know their website's ip addresses for all traffic, now they want to get a list of anyone subscribed to mailing lists. SO narrow.

Agreed. I wish they were all placed on a federal watch list then rounded up and shipped to Guantanamo Bay.

This isn't about Antifa, they wanted every single anti-Trump protester's personal data and address. When they couldn't get that they settled for their e-mail addresses.

That's totalitarian. And where is the warrant for neo-Nazi terrorists? There were many more hoards of Nazis and their leaders were making death threats.

Anti-Trump protesters are not terrorists and don't need their data searched over like they're all part of a terrorist organization.

Democrats/Liberals these days have gone to total mush. Smh.

I'm making a connection to Antifa because they're anti-Trump and this an anti-Trump topic. Relevance. Would you prefer I generate a list of all the people I feel this way about so that your feelings are preserved? That doesn't mean everyone on the list will be a bad person, but the left has gotten out of control and nobody wants to rein them in. The neo-Nazis are losers that couldn't accomplish a $200 goal on Kickstarter. The far leftists are actually a threat to society. Some of them will probably break the law for political reasons if they're crossing a certain line. The neo-Nazis are probably under the FBI's watch to an extent already. They keep tabs on hate groups, but assholes like Antifa are erroneously left off that list.

Going from 1.3m down to maybe thousands? Not sure why you don't see it as narrow, especially given that 200 of them were arrested for violence. Then again, maybe it's more a matter you just don't want to see violent protestors locked up...

Except no, this is directly related to the 200+ arrests. The government isn't interested in the others, although they really should be considering that the list likely includes a number of Antifa terrorists who belong on a watch list.
