This shit is commonplace in/practically the backbone of the physical side of the music industry, why don't video games get the same treatment? The best we ever get is digital copies with strange changes/bugs/omissions, on consoles whose controllers feel totally different than the original. Why aren't there licensed SNES repros and carts, for example?

I'm guessing it's not worth the cost to manufacture. They're competing with digital releases and people who simply emulate.
I would be curious to see how that would go though. As for why stuff changes later that's due to porting the game to other platforms. Sometimes it's just a quirk because the game was designed for that original platform in every single way. But it could also be due to licensing. --- Kind Regards, Darmik ... Copied to Clipboard!
