There is a difference between experience and being unwilling to adapt as some old people can be. For every old person I've dealt with who understands that culture changes and is willing at least learn how a basic web browser works there are at least 5 or 6 who think that progress should have stopped when they were in their prime and the world should cater to whatever backwards 1950s values they have.

Basically it's been like that all human history, the fucking Greeks would lament how they thought the younger generation was ruining everything.

I know a lot of old people who are wrong, but they're not the loudest. Millennials are. They're always out there protesting something and and causing trouble. They're the one who want student loan forgiveness while the Gen X'ers pay it back. They're the ones who constantly want socialism so they can stay home and play video games all day. And all the while, 1 out of 3 Millennials still live with their parents, while blaming them for their problems.
