My grandma gossips about all of us -me, my mom, my sister, etc when people come over.

I know it's her house and she pays the bills but it's really annoying. We can hear everything you're saying in our rooms!

A lot of people gossip about me at work, which is always funny because they smile at me with a straight face even though their oh so trusted confidants let me know what's up.

Not if its true. Ive learned a lot about myself through gossip. I don't see people talking about me as doing me wrong. If theytalking about me I must be important to them in some way afterall. And if Im not than why would I care what they think anyway

Finding out that people have been gossiping about you is often a good indicator that they're not worth keeping around. Not always, but generally.

Also its kind of freeing when you just accept that if you do something its free to be talked about because it happened and you had some responsibility in it.
