Vicks is just the incorrect localization of Biggs so obviously it doesn't matter if you go with the VI thing.

Does anyone give a shit about their characterizations besides the avalanche members though?

No, they're only listed under their game of origin, but you can essentially think of a summon as whatever version of the character you want.

Yeah I tried this way back in the FFD era for Bahamut's very first appearance when I nominated Bahamut (Final Fantasy X) on the grounds that this iteration actually has dialogue and plot significance. I was initially confused when he was lumped in with the FF section and not the FFX characters.

Then FFD told me he went by origin and that if I wanted that Bahamut in I would have to nominate Bahamut's fayth else he'd just be assimilated under the general Bahamut flag. ... I just nominated Anima instead. Bahamut might be the most prolific summon to appear in smific, but I don't think any summon is ever gonna top Doomtrain's top 5 appearance as they tend to do quite poorly up against actual characters.

Whoops, got so caught up in the Tennessee/GA Tech game after the round ended that I forgot to do STATS, so here we go.

Not much to say here. Bahamut has one upper half finish, but everything else is soft boot territory. If the king of summons can't manage any better than this, I think it's going to be hard for any longstanding summon to do well. You might have to settle for the standalone summons, like Doomtrain (although even Anima hasn't done well and Doomtrain's performance last year is a major outlier). You could try to nominate Neo Bahamut or Bahamut Zero, I guess!

Bahamut's numbers are the same in both versions of the STATS, so he makes his debut at 29.25%, which puts him at 94th place (out of 110) overall and 88th place (out of 99) in the New Era STATS.
