I've been cutting on carbs, while maintaining a balanced protein intake. And I've been slacking gym cause of sickness, uni and work. Wtf is going on? I've lost around 10kg since the beginning of this year, when all media outlet has informed me that muscle is heavier than fat.

I have around 3-4 meals per day, while not having protein in the morning. Is that the reason for my weight loss?

But aren't muscle heavier than fat???!? Why aren't they compensating for my loss of fat/carbs?

Also what about the lack of protein with breakfasts, does that factor in a lot with overall weight growth?
