Like, homicidal is wanting to kill others. Suicidal is wanting to kill yourself. What if neither of those are true unless you want everyone to go, including yourself? Is there a word for this?

If we make contact with other intelligent alien races to compare us to then you can make that criticism. But right now all we have are fictional alternate races that writers can project whatever qualities they want upon.

We have not come as far as we could have or should have due to primitive behaviors we cannot seem to shake as a species.

Admittedly, not to the extent that I want humanity outright wiped out, but rather it's the reason I avoid social interaction. I'm capable of basic, if cold, courtesy and respect and that's about it. There just isn't anybody out there that could be trustworthy or tolerable enough that I would ever count them as a friend or beyond (even my own family ended up being a regrettably mixed bag), and I rightly assume no one would want to deal with me either for various reasons, so it works out that neither party wants to hang around each other any longer than absolutely necessary.
