I've been following the game on the AC subreddit, since it's been out in Australia since late October. It looks really cute and fun!

These days I use the e-shop. I assumed if I do switch handhelds, I can just pop out my current SD card and put it into the new one.

I use cartridges, but it's a pain sometimes.. so if you can get the eShop gift cards a little cheaper, I'd go that way.

I usually do eshop if I'm buying on the release date and I usually do cartridge if it's after that

There is the quarry, on the map, and in order to get into it you have to have five friends, or go into it with five friends, or pay with leaf tickets. I'd rather save my tickets.

I'm up to level 3 -- Im attempting to find out if there is a place to sell fish and bugs and shells for bells. I'm sure there is, just haven't found it yet.

edit: I've also had a number of network errors. I am wondering if it is because this is the first day and there are so many people downloading it. I just keep hitting retry and a few times I've totally gotten out and then back in.

I should not have started playing before I had to go to class this morning.... I can't get up. Must keep crafting.

My phone keeps dying at 50-60% battery when game apps open so I may need to replace a battery before I do much with this game :S
