I've never read the whole thing. Which version should I read? I'm down to read multiple translations in order of release. I just need to know where to start.

P.S. Catholic Church

King James is solid but honestly the pacing is garbage and none of the characters are even likable until the second half, and it ends on a cliffhanger. Still waiting on that sequel

The NASB or ESV are the most accurate translations out there if you aren't down for Greek and Hebrew.

I don't understand Greek or Herbrew. Can I get a citation stating NASB or ESV is most accurate for the Catholic Church?

Read the Quran instead.

I intend to. Starting with Catholic because that's what I've been exposed to.

I was fairly certain this topic was about the book.

Part of me held out hope that it would be about the album by Manic Street Preachers.

Well I was joking. In my opinion don't read either as they're nonsense and boring at that.

Good idea. I should drop by there when I have a chance. I was just hoping I can find a copy to download on my Kindle Fire real quick tho.

A lot of world history seemed to have roots in relgion. It's not like I'm devoting myself to studying only Catholicism.

I intend to go to them as well, but again I'm starting with Catholicism because thats what I've grown up with. I can relate to that much easier.

This isn't really true.

Hinduism may be older than Judaism, depending on how you want to define the terms. But something we might recognize as Judaism is older than Buddhism.
