shit was on point tonight

Last time I got take-out from there it looked like what I imagine McDonald's chicken pasta would look like if it existed.

it's not bad food imo but i can never justify paying $15 for a plate of spaghetti. If I'm going to pay for pasta I'm going somewhere nice and getting some lobster linguini or something.

that said, Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana soup is fucking orgasmic.

Olive Garden to me is the shitty version of East Side Mario's. I miss that place so much. All you can eat pasta Wednesday for $10, some of the best chicken/veal parm I've had at a restaurant as well (my homemade is better but it's still really enjoyable).

And that bread was fucking awesome too. Always hot. We'd usually end up filling up on the bread and taking half our meal home.

I like their pasta f**ioli, but you need to ask for some Tabasco sauce to doctor it up just a little (4-5 drops).

I live in an Italian dense area of my city. There is no going to Olive Garden.

They are fine for unlimited soup, salad, and breadsticks... But their actual entrees are just not all that great, especially compared to the many local Italian restaurants.

I've never had a single complaimt about food quality or taste when I've eaten there. It's just that basically any themed restaurant is going to get trashed for not being authentic or for being too mainstream.
