All I got was a sausage burrito and mcmuffin from mcdonalds with a coffee(no sugar 1 cream)

Ugh

That's why I don't get this shit. Sure my carbs are already over 80

What's not to get. You had two carb heavy burger type meals. You basically just asked "I don't get it, I'm covered in burns and all I did today was run into a building on fire".

This is why no carb/low carb diets work. Because the things that chew up calories tend to be things like burgers, donuts, sandwiches, anything with bread in it basically.

It's hard to find breakfast around my work area that has low carbs. Literally all we have is Burger King, McDonald's, Einstein's, and Port of Subs so I feel your pain lol

The day I care about all those numbers is the day I finally have nothing better to do.
Everything in moderation. That's what I do and I'm not a pudding so I'm doing something right. Without all the calorie counting drama.

Calorie counting is a good way to get a sense for where your diet has been going wrong. If you've always had a reasonable diet and you're happy with your body/weight it's not going to make sense to you to adopt an anally-retentive practise like this because you have no need. But if you're trying to change then it makes sense to try and figure out what the stats say.

Oh I'm not on a diet it just feels disgusting I ate that little and don't even full.

It's 5am I've already had a diet lmemonade, almost 30 oz of water, coffee and McDonald's.

When I was cutting weight I was doing 1,200 calories and under 100g of carbs and I cut down from 190 to 165

Might start that again soon

I feel your pain. Some foods are just assholes. You have two donuts and you're at like 900 calories and you barely feel like you ate anything at all.

Drinks are the real killer. Grab a coke with lunch and there goes 10% of your daily calories

That's the thing about calories... you don't really know how much you ate. Packaging info is very inaccurate. You say you're at 700, but in reality you could be somewhere between 500 and 1000. That's why counting calories is useless

If I am craving carbs, I try and have them around lunch time so I have most of the day to burn it off... and try to stick with protein and veg for tea. But yeah, it f'ing sucks!

...Well a Sausage Burrito and McMuffin are 450 calories together according to their website, and 53 carbs. Coffee is of course 0 calories, and even the large has only 2 grams of carbs. It's not really fair to blame McDonald's for that extra 250 calories from elsewhere :<

Well that sugar wasn't from McDonald's, so it's still unfair to blame Ronald :<

Yeah their official website says that. Other websites like popsugar gave a different amount, and didn't even let you customize, so you don't the right values when you take out stuff for things like a McMuffin. They only have the standard menu things like Sausage McMuffin, Egg McMuffin, etc.

No, that's why counting calories should be taken with a grain of salt and tracked over a reasonably long time and constantly adjusted to get a better estimate.
