It would make it so much easier to binge watch stuff if they took the series, cut out all the recaps, openings and credits, and then stitched the entire thing together.

Because you can theoretically fast forward over that stuff on whatever device you're using to binge-watch? On a similar vein, though, I wish there was an edited-for-TV version of the Back to the Future trilogy that fused them together. I don't really want to have to watch Doc show up to take Marty to 2015 with two different Jennifers in a row.

That'd be great if you could have a version without the recaps and stuff for bingewatching, but i'd rather keep it in episode format.

Too lazy.

Well, it would still have to be in episode format since it would require them to redo a whole lot of stuff in order to get rid of that.

If only there was some sort of online, commercial-free, way to watch entire seasons of television without breaks ...

Netflix doesn't have the shows I want to watch.

Pretty much. Binge watching is the exception more so than the norm, and it's easy enough for people who are binge watching to bypass the obstacles to doing so, so there isn't much incentive to take them out.

Also, actually taking out all of the recaps and openings and credits would highlight just how little actual content there is in some episodes, which they're generally trying to avoid admitting.

To be fair, the Netflix Castlevania series really should have just been a full-length movie.

I suppose episodic series' are more trendy right now, though.
