The xkcd topic reminded me of a lot of webcomics I used to follow in school so I checked up on them.

Dr.McNinja has concluded and I highly recommend that one. The art is good and it's humor is nice.

Romantically Apocalyptic always blew me away with it's style. It's a lot of real images and actors photoshopped and digitally painted over. Very amazing art. The story can get pretty confusing. I think it's still ongoing (takes a long time for new chapters)

How about you, any you read or used to read? Preferably with stories. I used to read vgcats back in the day but that's not what I mean.

KC green the guy behind gunshow (you probably recognize "this is fine" dog) is working on two good webcomics right now: "Back" with the artist of the nedroid comic (the best comic of all time) and "He is a Good Boy" which is amazing and you should read it. Back is cool too but HiaGB is my jam

I used to years ago. 8-bit theater, Sore Thumbs, xkcd, and VG Catz. Haven't read any in a while though.

I actually have the physical release of that (the first book anyways). I met the author at a convention, talked to him for a bit, and ended up buying it. Didn't even realize it was a web comic until I read through it and noticed the URL at the end. I will say it is a lot easier to understand the "plot" when you read it as a book.

Not really. I started to read a few and, because I was going through the backlog, it was pretty great (particularly one about this group of people working in a IT department who decide to start their own company). However, web comics seem to release waaaaaaaay too slowly and sparingly to make them worth following.

Funny, I couldn't get into Romantically Apocalyptic because I had read Blastwave first. It was too similar and less appealing.
