I never appreciated how messed up Team Rocket was in this game. There's a Slowpoke with its tail chopped off in the Slowpoke Well holding a letter that says something like "Please take good care of grandpa and Slowpoke while I'm gone. Love, dad."

The bastards stole a guys Slowpoke from his kid and cut its tail off. Holy shit.

Huh. I wonder if it works on the virtual console version of GS. Probably not, but it would be funny if it did.

Supposedly it does.

Never liked GSC as much as some other generations. Last time I played one of them it was only long enough to confirm that the battery was dead. Granted, played SS for an okay amount of time (not enough to finish it) within the past... maybe five years.

i know the mew glitch (and any other encounter that sets up same way) still works on virtual console. missingo is still in red and blue also.

It's basically a modification of the clone glitch.

Do note that since you didn't actually "catch" or "get" the previous two starters, they won't show up in your pokedex. Their evolutions however will. So all you need to do to get those is to breed them with a ditto and hatch them from an egg to fully register them.

I understand with the right know how the battery can be replaced, think its just a standard watch batter or something like that. but i'd research it if you decide to go that route.
