...while you waited, you know so you could be for sure that they were fresh. There might not be that many of those stores still around.. I'm not sure i could do that job of slaughtering them do you think you could?

Probably not. Although if I had to butcher a animal for survival I probably could.

I’ve told this story before, but since you asked I’ll relive the worst day of my life

One time I was driving and these two little girls were walking their dog, the girls being about five and ten. Young. They lost control of the leash and the dog ran into the street. I didn’t even see it I just heard the girls screaming and I slammed on my brakes and the dog got hit by my back tire. Little dog, Honda Pilot. I sat there in shock and all I could hear was the dog dying (a horrible crying sound that is imprinted in my brain forever) and the girls screaming “MY DOG MY DOG”

I got out and sat with them as they screamed and cried. The cops came and a bunch of people surrounded us. Eventually their dad came and I’m in tears and just like I’m so sorry. He said I know it wasn’t your fault, I’m sorry this happened. You can go.

And I left. And it haunts me to this day, and is the worst day of my life.

oh i read your previous post as one time you ran over a dog on purpose, and thought it was crazy.

I've killed plenty sea creatures and seen chickens bleeding out in front of me. I don't really feel for them. They are food.

at the butcher shops i've seen said animals are already dead. I think you mean slaughter house

I could easily kill and cut up animals for a living but it probably wouldn't pay as much as my current job nor have the benefits

oh wording is confusing as butcher shops do infact exist. used to love shopping at one in a place I used to live, as the prices would get cheaper as it got closer to closing time as he wanted to get the meat out while it was still fresh. but I don't think he killed the animals there, just cut them up, ground them up etc.

Birds are dirty. I have no problem killing them, but I would have a problem letting people eat them.

Don't think I could butcher a rabbit or anything like that.

my grandfather actually used to raise rabbits just for the purpose of killing them and eating them. they are apparently super easy to kill.
