this guy has always interested me in comics. he's pretty cool and badass but I never dreamed he would ever be on tv

i've always wanted to get into the arrow show, just always put off by how he acts nothing like green arrow, or how terrible deathstroke seemed

it takes some gettign used to. it's not perfect. but it's still pretty cool to see so many different obscure characters from the comics f inally being given the stage. and the big crossover events they do each year are always cool. I love seeing like 30 heroes on screen together

You would love a season where the nazi's won WW2, ok?

supposedly the flash backs are over now in the new season. They already caught up with him getting off the island. so there isn't much use for them anymore

I don't watch Arrow, but I'm willing to give any show a chance that spends a season killing Nazi assholes.

they are also going to get into BLM in the upcoming season. wonder how mayor queen will handle it.

I don't think they can make a batman show. Gotham is ok because it's about other people and a young Bruce Wayne. But I don't think they can have a tv show about a functioning Batman. it's called the Bat Embargo. movies want to hog Batman. that's why Green Arrow is much like Batman. he is essentially the Batman of that universe.

which is sad batman I always felt would do better with a tv show since he has such an extensive list of well known and loved villains. plus a tv show could focus more on his detective skills instead of just a little bit of detective work and mostly ass kicking.

Pretty much. It's a valuable property. It's also why certain characters didn't appear on certain versions of the cartoon. The Batman never had Scaregrow or Ras because the Nolan films did (The Joker is the only Batman rogue who can show up in any cartoon).

While there were Batman tv shows in the past, once they saw how much money they could make on films that was kinda gone. (And I wonder if all the cartoons don't also play a role.)

yeah I was a tad upset the flashpoint thing only lasted an episode or so in the flash, but I was have been upset either way as I doubt thomas wayne batman would have been a thing either way.

they would have instead had Oliver die on the boat and his dad comes back to Star City and becomes Green Arrow

yea I love him too. I would like to see more of him. like make an ongoing comic set in a permanent version of Flashpoint. I mean the event Convergence showed that all these worlds still exist somewhere. So thye could do it

yeah I feel lucky I found some random 3 pack comic thing in walmart one day and you could only see the comic on the front and other 2 where random, and one of them was a convergence issue was red son superman versus adult robin and huntress. and it helped solidify why despite being a commie I love red son superman.

i prefer "r-awes" to "ray-shh".

the flashbacks tell part of the story and slowly bridge the cap between what happened then and now

This, and I could be wrong but every canonical work has pronounced it the first way. Yes, it's wrong, but it is what the character was named and no one corrected the creators until after the character was already quite established.
