Then after going through his stand up learned that he died years ago. The guy had the best repertoire of pussy jokes I've ever heard. Why do the good ones always die young.

O'Neal was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes at 23, a condition which his mother also had.[1] However, O'Neal failed to follow medical advice, and instead skipped doses of medication and adopted a diet not recommended for diabetics, leading to struggles with his weight years later.[26][33][34][35] Towards the end of his life, O'Neal attempted to improve his health by adopting a vegan diet, juicing, and reducing his intake of unhealthy foods, yet he was still unable to lose weight.[3][1] In 2011, he stood at 6'5" and weighed approximately 300 lbs and said his diabetes was "finally catching up with me."[33]

Had wondered what he'd died of. Given his neglect, it's sad that he died from what would have been entirely preventable.

Did you read the description of how he died?

"During the early hours of October 19, 2011, O'Neal phoned his girlfriend to inform his inability to move his legs. He was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center, and later Englewood Hospital, where doctors performed surgery to remove a blood clot in his head.[1] He lost his ability to speak, and later his ability to move, for a time communicating by eye movements before losing that ability as well. Doctors warned that if he survived, he would likely remain permanently paralyzed and unable to speak."

If he'd lived he'd likely have been totally locked in and unable to communicate. That's probably my single greatest fear right there. Horrifying.

'Elephant in the Room' is one of the funniest specials I've ever seen and still might be my favorite.

Yep, loved every minute of it. Listening to him talk about Donkey Punches and the Angry Pirate on Fox News was also fucking hysterical:
