The Nationals seem like d-bags and I'll never have the Dodgers higher than last place on my list, and the Cubs are just boring. I guess I have to root for the other NL West teams.

I guess I'm pulling for the Astros. I basically don't care as long as it's not the Cubs or Red Sox. Yankees would suck too but it wouldn't ruin my life like those two would

I ended up putting the Rockies high because I know I will not be able to root against them even if they throw down with my man Kershaw. I just know myself better than that at this point. I will say I don't care who wins then when game 1 is 8-0 Dodgers I will feel sad

I was trying to find the Rockies' playoff roster (which looks like it's not out yet) and I didn't even know before that they can set a roster just for the wild card game and then change it. That's interesting, since they can basically free up roster spots from starting pitchers, although it's not like they have much extra bullpen or bench depth to choose from anyway. It seems like you'd almost be better off keeping starting pitchers in case the game goes to extras or you get starts like we saw tonight

The Wild have plateaued as of like 3 years ago. They're an okay hockey team, but that's all they will ever be in the current era. They have good players, but most of the are underachievers. Also Parise is way out of his prime and will probably retire this season due to injury.

The Wolves look like the best team in MN. I don't like basketball but I'm trying to learn so we'll see how it goes.

Vikings are the Vikings. My favorite team, but they perpetually suck.

Really a great year for the Twins. I'm excited for next year and looking forward to paying more attention to baseball next season.

The thing that sucks about the NBA is that there are only 1-4 teams that have an actual realistic shot of winning the title, and the Wolves are not one of them this year. But I imagine it at least must be exciting to have a real prospect of returning to the playoffs, because I feel excited about the Nuggets.

I expect at least Memphis and Portland to drop out of the West playoffs, leaving the door open for our teams. The Jazz and Clippers could be casualties too, I guess, but they'd have to fall a lot further. Plus, who is going to replace them? Maybe the Pelicans, but then after that I don't know who could make the playoffs. The Kings and Lakers have a chance if they overachieve a bit and have a few things bounce their way.

I hear ya dawg. I honestly think the pups have a 50/50 chance of even making the playoffs. I think they will grind it out and make the playoffs, and they matchup really well against GSW. KAT owns curry, and let's see what jimmy buckets can do. Sorry Ricky Rubio sympathizers.

I've always thought that college basketball is way more entertaining than NBA, but it's too bad that my fave NCAA sucks

I only ever watch the NCAA for the tournament, but I don't like the way they play basketball. I can't really put my finger on it, but something about it seems really sloppy and disorganized, even with the best teams. There's just a noticeable gap in the quality of play, which is the same problem I have with college football. I like some of their rules better, like 1-and-1s, but some are just dumb, like the possession arrow

St. Louis deserves a big 4 major sports representation. There were years where the Vikings were being threatened to move to LA, and it was shitty. I feel bad for any city and fanbase that actually had to experience it. STL is a top 5 baseball and hockey town. Give them back an NFL team and give them an NBA team.

I like to gamble, which makes march madness awesome, but the NBA vs the NCAA has some differences. I personally just think that the pace/style of play of college ball is more exciting

The worst thing was how long it took and how it felt so inevitable. There would be days when we'd get what sounded like good news (in other words very bad news for other fanbases) and then a day later somehow we'd be back to living in fear. Then there was months of debate and knowing how it was going to end but still hanging onto that sliver of hope. Then one day while you're at the self checkout bagging some groceries you get the text that you knew was coming. There was a sense of relief at that moment because at least it was over

College basketball also has huge talent gaps within its own teams, just like college football. So sometimes you'll see stuff like a team running a full-court press all game, which is kind of interesting, but it would get any NBA team killed. I guess that's kind of the equivalent of a football team that runs QB options on 50% of the plays
