I'm not dissing him, I think he might be right. However, I wonder, if something similar happened to Hawaii, would they be just as desperate because they live on an island too? Or would the response be a bit quicker because it is a US state and not a territory?

I understand that Flint is a huge crisis, but no offense I feel like that's a false analogy. While the crisis with Flint's water is a disaster, it is a singular problem, otherwise Flint is doing as best as it ever has, going on with life as normal. Puerto Rico is wiped out. The civilization itself may not recover there. Those two problems aren't the same, though I appreciate the concern for other problems in the homeland.
