They put out a statement on Youtube and Instagram stating their players will stand unlike some of the males in the NFL They said "The LFL recognizes everyone's 1st Amendment right to protest, but our nation's flag and anthem are far too sacred. Too many fellow Americans have made the ultimate sacrifice, so that our flag and anthem continue in all of its majesty" They produced a shoddy youtube clip showing their players standing while the anthem was playing because they "stand in salute" of the flag The video says "It symbolizes all the blood, sweat and tears that have been shed so that we as Americans can raise our flag across teh nation. The LFL salutes all those who make this the greatest country in the world. We stand in salute of our flag" Trump doubled down on the kneeling and said "In my opinion, the NFL has to change or you know what's going to happen? Their business is gonna go to hell. Okay?. We have to respect our national anthem, we have to respect our country and they're not respecting our country.
