I had this merchandiser job going to different stores with a team of merchandisers for 2 months. It involved waking at 4 and driving at least 30 minutes each day and hour back due to traffic. It was $13 and hour and alright for the time being. However, they cut hours after a big project finished. They didn't give me work for a week and first day back I drove an hour to location only for them to say work is cancelled that day. I was scheduled work for 3 next weeks, but I just quit.

Retail Jobs are heading the way into bullshit territory, your best bet is to start something for yourself & save up.

There is a few respectable retail jobs left though, you could try Costco.

Yeah I knew it was going to probably be temporary going into it. Reset merchandising is a very temp job. I got good overtime several weeks and the job was super easy. Literally move merch to new spots on shelves.

The hours got me stressed too. I realize I can't do a job where I have to wake up and its still night. I was depriving myself with sleep and that's dangerous on roads at night. I literally need a job that's at least 7 am or later.

I make money with side jobs. I haven't been unemployed in now 2 years almost. I have quit 3 jobs this year, but always have backup.
