Yes No View Results The Trump Administration has obtained 3 search warrants from a DC Court to rifle through the accounts of three facebook users who were involved in the inauguration protests!! Emmelia Talarcio was one, who is the manager of disruptj20 page and liked by 6000 people who may have participated on the Jan.20 demonstrations. The DOJ will have access to ALL of these 6000 people people, plus anyone who marked themselves as attending if a civil liberties organization is unsuccessful at halting or narrowing the administration's warrant. The warrant is going after "anti-administration activists who have wpoken out at organized events or who are generally very critical of the administration policies" The ACLU is fighting the warrants in court on grounds that they are overly broad and invasion of privacy. They said "Most of the material demanded bears no relation to the government investigation for which the government sought the warrants" The private lists of invitees and attendees to multiple political events sponsored by the page as Emmelia argued in court as they would have access to their "personal passwords, security questions and answer and credit card information". Legba Carrefour is also fighting back stating he did not participate in any riots but helped organize dozens of demonstrations and events for political causes but not the riot in question.
