All I have heard is barking, barking, and more barking all day. Freaking don't tie your dog up in your back yard asshole, let them in the house or put them up for adoption if you are too stupid to know how to properly care for a dog...

My neighbour locks his in the kitchen while he goes to work all day. It barks a lot unsurprisingly. It's probably better they are outside. Being tied up is better than have it run wild I'd imagine.

i don't understand people who let their dogs bark like that none-stop, ok?

it can't be fun to listen to that all day/night, the dog is literally barking to warn of what he perceives as danger so he's not having fun, and it's a big fuck you to all the neighbors who have to listen to the barking non-stop, ok?

they're awful people who shouldn't be allowed to own pets, ok?

Not sure what they can do when at work though. My neighbours dog seems lonely. Although with that said perhaps they shouldn't even have it if they ain't got time for it.

Usually if the dog is barking when alone inside the house, it is because it is scared. Even if they aren't "guard" dogs, dogs have a natural tenancy to want to protect their home. If they are alone though, they think it is their responsibility to protect the entire house which is stressful for them. Hence they get scared and start barking/crying.

Best way to help with that is to put them in a crate with a blanket over it when you leave the house. That way they feel safe because the area they need to protect is small, and they can see when something is coming. Once they get older and more used to you being away you don't need to do that. Another thing that can help is giving them a chew toy or a bone, that way they have something to chew on to relieve some of that fear/stress.

Yeah my neighbour never did any of that. No wonder the dog(now a adult) hasn't adjusted to the situation. Some folk generally think puppies grow out of behaviours when they are older without being taught it. It's dumb really.
