Yes No View Results The controversial movie in question, "The Good Son" starring Macauley Culkin as an evil kid who has a fascination with death and wants to kill things..including PEOPLE. In the movie his 12 y/o cousin, played by Elijah Wood, moves in with them after his parents died and he suspects that his cousin is a troubled kid and tries to stop him after he tried killing his sister... Incase you haven't seen this movie.... At the climax of this movie, Macauley's character tries to kill his mom by pushing her off the cliff because she gets close to his cousin and would rather kill her..but just before he does, the 12 y/o cousin tackles him and a fight ensues where they dangle off the cliff but the mother grabs both arms and must decide to either save her evil son...or her nephew..in the end, she let go of her evil son and saved the nephew. This scene was very controversial and not to mention, it bombed in theatres as people were not ready to see the home alone kid turn evil... That, and you know, he literally just tried to kill her. If my kid tried to kill me, I probably would let him go too.
